Today, let me share with you pictures of the exquisite, beautiful and proud peacocks of University of Western Australia, Perth, Australia.
We had a discussion in Organizational Behaviour lecture just last week and the lecturer was discussing the image that this uni was trying to put out to the world. The lovely old brick buildings, vast green lawns, riverside campus, peacocks... it was concluded that they were trying to exude the aura of an old english campus.
That little discussion aside, check out the peacocks!
They generally hang around the Art Building at uni.
They'll be walking around the lawn, minding their own business.
Never seen them spread their feathers tho... guess they're not horny/mating season. hehe.

but but, the cutest one of the all is...
the peahen and peachick!
baby peacock! So adorable! *squeals*
Spotted it in the arts building after class when I dropped by to use the little ladies room. :)
As the title of this post suggested, no I'm not here just to say that only in UWA we have peacocks running around the campus, heck, we even got ducks, seagulls, crows, and that other bird that looks like a parrot around. Whoa, bird reserve potential? haha.
Anyways, as the story goes, a friend of a friend's brother got expled from the university for chasing the peacocks!
That is just so extreme... I really should have a look at the rule book if there is one and see if there's anything in it about terrorising peacocks. So ladies and gentleman, don't terrorize cute harmless birds if not someone/something else is gonna come back and bite you in the ass!
