There was a Craft and Quilt Fair last week in Perth! It was a perfect excuse to ajak my fellow stuck-in-Perth-coz-of-sister/family kaki for a day out! LOL. She brought a friend along , Desiree. Entrance fees was $15 and I was thinking "WHATTT" but since we're already here and thought we would be able to get outselves some cheap craft supplies, why not la...
The moment we go in, we were greeted by lots and lots of stalls set up. It was way bigger than I expected a craft fair to be.
Paper/scrapbook stuff!
Upon making more observations, I couldn't help but notice that 95% of the people at the craft fair were either:
a) Old aunties
b) Grandmas
Heck, there were even workshops with all the attendees being grandmas watching attentively. haha. Seriously felt TOO YOUNG TO BE THERE!
OH OH OH, and there was a store selling dolls,
not just any kinda dolls but...
*psycho tune*
LIFE-LIKE DOLLS
And they REALLY are very lifelike
I've honestly never been a fan of babies... Think of that screaming, crying, shitting, vomiting, feeding and how tiny and delicate they are... shivers
But back to the lifelike babies...
Have a look for yourself
Melissa was so freaked out by it because it reminded her of Chuckie
I was freaked out by it because they're babies. hahaha.

Here, here, take a closer look and dare you not to feel shivers down your spine!

WTF la, I most certianly wonder who would want dolls like this.
The only person I can imagine enjoying these dolls are some deranged lonely women who just lost her baby/can't have one and treats this doll as if its real...
I bought myself some cute trinkets and craft stamps (pictures currently unavailable, hehe)
Spent about $25 plus some money/change drama. hehe. Almost rugi $30 but luckily got it all cleared out. *phew*
One more thing, check out this super chun/pimped out check out counter!
On top of the craft fair, a little quilt exhibition was also going on.
Super impressive okay. I can't imagine the amount of effort, time and skill it'll take to complete quilts... Check out a few of the eye catching ones..
and and
an award winning piece.
Went to Edo Shiki at Forrest Chase for late lunch after. It was super yummmmmmy take out sushi but the sushi served in the restaurant with the rotating belt was kinda disappointing. Bummer. But there was soft shell crab to brighten up lunch!
But salmon sashimi/sushi will always be my #1!
On an ending, more spicy and exciting note,
There's a SEXPO at the convention centre this weekend!
It's been advertised on TV, busses and billboards for quite awhile now,
I so want to go to it just to satisfy my curiosity of how a sexpo is like. haha. But no one wants to go with me. :( Oh well, maybe next year...
Can I get your opinions on something please,
Should I pierce my belly? *grins*
xoxo,

Hi Andrea,
You should visit The Stitches & Craft Show, unfortunately it's not in Perth though but it's on in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. The Stitches & Craft Show attracts a much younger audience and I'm sure you'll love it. Infact you should visit the website www.stitchesandcraft.com.au to see more. The next show is on in Sydney from the 19-23rd August.
Thanks for the info! Too bad I wont be heading outer state anytime soon. Would have been nice to join the younger crowd. :)
