Boxing Day

My life feels so mundane at the moment. It's time I come out of the shadows and the comfort zone and start living!

Hope everyone had a very merry Christmas! New Years is coming. Plans anyone?

Spotted this DIY ruffled dress on Style Scrapbook.
Absolutely adore Andy Torres' style.

Nice?

My fingers are itching. I've never sewed anything more than a button or a rip...

Blabber

I wanna dye my hair black with a blue undertone so my hair would seem really black, getting rid of the ugly half dyed/half undyed hair. I vow never to dye my hair an obvious colour unless I am going to upkeep root regrowth.

Shopping shopping is awaiting. Shall try to hit the stores on Monday. KL shopping, Sunway Pyramid or One Utama? Hmm...

Away

Hello, when you are reading this I'm probably all the way up North of peninsular Malaysia. I'll be in Alor Setar, Kedah for my cousin's wedding which is on Christmas day. ho ho ho?

WELCOME TO ALOR STAR
Okay fine, it's not that ulu but still... it's Alor Star and not KL.

Hope we'll be making stops along Ipoh and some other place to enjoy some local delicacies and the most amazing pork knuckles. On the other hand, I need to start watching my diet... :(

Looking forward to heading up to Hatyai, Thailand for some shopping though year by year, the varieties of clothes available is getting disappointing. There's always Swensen's, roast piglets, tut tut and Tesco to make things better.

Till I'm back home... xoxo!
The inconsistent blogger strikes again. I'm debating with myself weather to blog a little about Rakuzen and Sushi Zanmai or just Pepper Lunch... On a quick decision, I'll share Pepper Lunch with you all today simply because it'll be a shorter post than Rakuzen.

Pepper Lunch! Located in Pavilion.

Basically, it's some sorta fusion dish. It'll be served on a hot plate then you'l have to stir it all around, season it with their special sauce till it's cooked. Somewhat like DIY-Teppanyaki.

The nice people who work there will tell you how to cook your own dish when you are served your food. If not, there's two tv screens that will reply a very tantalizing video tutorial on how to prepare your dish. On the video tutorial, I've gotta say that a dish that looks like fried rice was very mouth watering especially with the sizzling sound. It's a very interesting concept, something you don't see everyday. Also, they've got another 2 special sauces on each table, honey soy and something else, which is quite yummy.

We got a set which comes with rice and miso soup. Also, there's a counter where you can help your self with complimentary plain cold water.

Personally, I did not enjoy this very much. It's tasted alright but nothing extraordinary. I think it would only be a one time visit for me. Also, I'm paranoid that the hot plate won't be sufficient to make sure that my chicken is fully cooked. But don't let me stop you from trying it, you might enjoy it more! Try other dishes. :) I would be much happier having teppanyaki where I get very peppery bean sprouts and beef cooked with fried garlic. :))

Halloween

I know it's a little late but I just had to share with you my Halloween masterpiece!
We had a butternut pumpkin lying on the table for weeks and my sister decided to carve it. After her failed attempt to carve it, I took over and voila, we have a jack-0-lantern! Took a fair amount of effort to carve a clear tunnel so a candle can fit in.

These pictures are what happens after you leave it outside for weeks. Scary ain't it?
